Professional Scholarship
IFMA Jacksonville will be providing two individuals with a complimentary 1 year membership as part of our new Scholarship Program. To learn more about the Program, please see the information below:

REQUIREMENTS:
-
Prospect must be a Facilities Manager, Assistant Facilities Manager, Property Manager, Building Engineer, or enrolled in a Facilities Management Degree Program
-
Prospect cannot be on the IFMA Jacksonville Board
-
Prospect must have attended at least 1 IFMA event in the past

QUALIFICATIONS:
​To qualify for the Professional Scholarship, the prospect should: ​
-
Join an IFMA Jacksonville committee
-
Provide a letter of qualification* to the IFMA Jacksonville Board
​
SELECTION:
​The IFMA Jacksonville Board will select two individuals based on:
-
Recent relocation by an active Professional Member to a company that does not have membership budgeted, or
-
A new candidate from either current IFMA membership or a recommendation of a new member by the Membership committee, and
-
The review of the letter of qualification

Certification Scholarship
IFMA Jacksonville will be providing three individuals with a complimentary certification as part of our new Scholarship Program. No matter where you are in your career, an IFMA certification is a perfect learning opportunity for you to gain new insight, stay up-to-date with leading industry trends and master the foundations of facility management.

REQUIREMENTS:

Prospect must be a Facilities Manager, Assistant Facilities Manager, Property Manager, Building Engineer with 5 years experience (no FM degree) or 3 years experience (with FM degree) for the CFM
-
Prospect can be an Associate, Professional, or Student Member for the SFP or FMP
-
Prospect cannot be on the IFMA Jacksonville Board

QUALIFICATIONS:
​To qualify for the Certification Scholarship, the prospect should:

Be a current IFMA Jacksonville Chapter Member
-
Be a regular attendee of IFMA Jax Lunch & Learn events within the past year
-
Join an IFMA Jax committee
​
SELECTION:
​The IFMA Jacksonville Board will select one individual based on:​

The review of the letter of qualification
​
The scholarship awards are provided as a reimbursement to the applicant.

Letter of Qualification:
​The letter of qualification must include a brief narrative of the prospects existing financial situation and what their commitment to IFMA Jacksonville will entail.
​
A letter from the prospect's employer must also be submitted with the letter of qualification approving the scholarship, if awarded.
